For the 2030 Seoul — Pyongyang exhibition a large banner poster was prepared imagining a future where the two Koreas are reunited. Within this context, my poster announced the testing of an atmospheric air filter solving the air pollution problem that perennially plagues the peninsula. With authoritarian overtones this announcement alerts citizens of the united peninsula of a testing period. A technology that solves an environmental problem is rolled out in a combination of democratic authoritarianism that imagines through design fiction that possible future of a reunited Korea.
